At Cohuna Secondary College, our major purpose is to support students in achieving academic success, by giving them the best possible chance of gaining entrance into a course at a University/Tertiary Institution or employment in their chosen pathways,VCE is the predominant course offered at Year 11-12, supplemented by a small and highly sought after VCE Vocational Major program.
The school provides a core curriculum program in Years 7-8. Years 9-10 is also elective-based with a good proportion of Year 10 students undertaking a VCE subject or pursuing additional pathway options with the conventional curriculum program.
Cohuna Secondary College values academic and individual success through persistence and we celebrate success with a formal end-of-year Academic Awards Ceremonies from Years 7-12.
The core curriculum is supported by a substantial life and study skills program that aims to support students in their study, work and life during their school years and beyond.
